There are sessions that are beautiful. There are sessions that are joyful. And then there are sessions that quietly reach in and hold your heart a little tighter.

There are some couples who feel like familiar pages in your favourite book — and C&K are exactly that for me. Throughout the years, I’ve had the joy of photographing their family more than once. I’ve watched their love grow, their family expand, and their story unfold in the most beautiful ways. But this September engagement session? It felt different. For the first time, it was just the three of us. No little hands tugging at pant legs. No giggles running through the frame.
