The Summer Stories I Hope to Tell This Year: Frontenac Photography's Summer Session Bucket List

Remember when we were younger and we would make summer bucket lists during the last few weeks of school? Sometimes they were part of a final project, and other times they were just something we made with our friends while dreaming about all the adventures summer would bring.
Some of the items were easy enough. Have a sleepover. Go to the fair. Spend a day at the beach.
Then there were the wildly ambitious ones. Marry that summer's hottest pop star. Become famous. Save the world. I know I had a few of those on my lists.
There was just something special about having a list. It kept you busy. It pushed you to try new things. It encouraged you to make memories instead of letting summer slip by.
So this year I thought, why not make one again?
Not a list of things to do, but a list of sessions I would absolutely love to capture this summer.
A collection of stories, adventures, and moments that feel like summer.
Frontenac Photography's Summer Session Bucket List
Garden Hose Couple Session
Running through the sprinkler, water fights, soaked clothes, and belly laughs. The kind of session that feels like being kids again.
Golden Hour Beach Couple Session
Barefoot walks, sandy toes, sunset skies, and the kind of quiet connection that only seems to happen near the water.
Notebook-Inspired Couple Session
A little romance, a little nostalgia, and all the movie-worthy moments.
Bonfire & Camping Couple Session
Camp chairs, cozy blankets, roasting marshmallows, and stories shared under the stars.
Western Couple Session
Boots, denim, open fields, and a little country charm.
Ice Cream Date Session
Simple, playful, and perfectly imperfect. Because sometimes the best dates involve melting ice cream and sticky fingers.
Skater Couple Session
Whether you're experienced skaters or just willing to give it a try, I can already picture the laughs and candid moments.
Dock & Swim Couple Session
Jumping into the water, sitting on the edge of the dock, soaking up the sunshine, and embracing every bit of summer.
Playground Family Session
Swing sets, monkey bars, races down the slide, and letting kids simply be kids.
Backyard Family Session
The place where so many memories are already being made. Water balloons, chalk drawings, backyard games, and everyday moments that deserve to be remembered.
Ice Cream Family Session
Because family memories don't always need a special location. Sometimes all you need is a cone, a sunny day, and the people you love.
Vow Exchange Session
Whether it's your first anniversary or your fiftieth, there is something incredibly special about slowing down and choosing each other all over again.
Maybe these sessions stay on my bucket list.
Maybe some of them become real stories that I'll have the privilege of documenting this summer.
Either way, I can't wait to see what adventures this season brings.
So tell me—if you could cross one thing off your own summer bucket list this year, what would it be?
xoxo
Cass
