C&C | An At-Home Lifestyle Engagement Session Filled with Laughter

C&C’s lifestyle engagement session felt less like “a photoshoot” and more like a slow afternoon spent together — the kind filled with laughter, movement, and those quiet little in-between moments that mean the most.

We chose to use my home for their session, leaning fully into a relaxed, casual feel. Soft corners. Natural light. Space to breathe. The kind of environment where you can kick off your shoes, dance in the kitchen, and forget there’s even a camera around.

And the sweetest part?

They brought their baby girl.

At one point, I baby-wore her during the session — and I won’t lie, I absolutely loved it. It took me right back to those early days with my own kids. There’s something grounding about that closeness. It added such an authentic layer to their engagement photos — because this is their love story right now.

Not just fiancés, but parents. Partners. Teammates.

The entire session was filled with:

– Laughs that couldn’t be contained

– Spontaneous dancing

– Cuddles on the couch

– Forehead kisses and tight squeezes
